Setting the camera

Switch the monitor and camera on as described.

The monitor image should show the rear or the bumper of the vehicle at the bottom
edge of the screen (see fig. 15.A, page 15). the middle of the bumper should be in
the middle of the screen. the correct setting can be attained by turning the camera in
the camera holder (see fig. 15.B, page 15).

When you have set the camera properly, tighten the 6 fastening bolts completely.
Caution!
The camera's plug connection is not protected against moisture. It is essential
that it is protected with insulating tape to prevent damage.
Tip
To minimise corrosion in the plug we recommend using a little grease e.g. pin
grease inside the plug.
We recommend greasing the threads of the bolts to prevent corrosion.

to your specialist dealer. For repair and guarantee processing, the following documents
must be sent along with the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for complaint or description of the fault

Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever
possible.
If you need to scrap the device, ask your local recycling centre or specialist
dealer for details about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal
regulations.
