Before using the appliance, press and release the
rotary switch.

Motor block
When attaching the blender jug, note the
attachment position.

To open the lid, press the release button.

Risk of electric shock!
Connect and operate the appliance only in
accordance with the specifications on the rating
plate.
If the mains cable and/or appliance are damaged,
do NOT use the appliance.
Keep children away from the appliance.
After using the appliance, before cleaning the
appliance, if leaving the appliance unattended or
if the appliance malfunctions, ALWAYS pull out
the mains plug.
Do not lay the mains cable near sharp edges or
hot surfaces.
To prevent injury, repairs such as replacing
a damaged mains cable, should be carried out by
our customer service only. If the power supply is
interrupted, the appliance remains switched on
and will start again when the power is restored.

Information concerning waste
disposal
Please ask your dealer or inquire at your local
authority about current means of disposal.
Preparation / Operation
The blender is suitable for processing 1.25 litres /
2½ pints of liquid or 0.75 litres / 1 pt 7 oz of hot or
foaming liquid. The optimum processing quantity
of solid ingredients is 80-100 g / 3-3½ oz.
If processing ice or frozen food, use AUTO
PULSE.
S Before using the appliance and accessories for
the first time, clean thoroughly; see Cleaning
and care".

Risk of injury from sharp blender blades/
rotating drive!
Never reach into the attached blender and
always work with the lid locked.
Remove/attach the blender jug only when the
appliance is at a standstill. When the appliance is
switched off, the blade continues running briefly.

Risk of scalding!
If hot liquids are processed, steam escapes
through the funnel in the lid. Add a max.
0.75 litres / 1 pt 7 oz of hot or foaming liquid.
Warning!
Never operate the blender empty.
The blender cannot be operated until the
blender jug has been attached and the lid
locked into position.
S Unwind the cable.
S Place the motor block on a smooth, clean
surface.
S Attach the blender jug (note attachment
position).
S Add the ingredients.
S Attach the lid: hook in at the front edge of the
blender jug (1), close (2) and press down the
rear edge of the lid until it locks into position
(Fig. 6).
S Insert the mains plug.
S Extend the rotary switch: press and release the
switch.
S Set the rotary switch to the desired position.
Note: The blender jug switches off automatically
if it is removed from the motor block during
operation.
