4.Sediment cup cleaning
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain
conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
1.Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position and remove the sediment cup,
O-ring, and filter.
2.Wash the sediment cup in solvent, dry it thoroughly.
3.Place the filter and O-ring in the fuel valve, and install the sediment
cup.
Insert the prong of the filter into the groove of the carburetor body.
Make sure that filter is properly secured.
4.Tighten the sediment cup securely.
5.Turn the fuel valve ON and check for leaks.

5.Spark plug service
Recommended spark plug: BPR5ES (NGK)
To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug must be properly
gapped and free of deposits.
1.Open the engine upper cover (see page 35).
2.Remove the spark plug cap and use a spark plug wrench to remove
the plug.
If the engine has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Be careful
not to touch the muffler.
