9. SAFETy DEVICES
The rivet spinner is equipped with the safety devices
illustrated hereafter:
- Switch: the machine features a safety switch with release
coil. In the case of a sudden power failure, the switch
trips automatically and disconnects the machine from the
mains. The machine will not start even if the power supply
is suddenly restored. You need to reset the switch to start
the machine again.
10. INTENDED USE
This device is an electric rivet spinner for cutting chains
used in chain saws.
- Use the machine exclusively for the types of chains stated
in the technical data chart.

13. INSTALLATION
ATTENTION
Do not install the machine at eye level. You are recommended
to install it on the bench at a maximum height of approximately
1.2-1.3 m off the floor.
13.1 MOUNTING (FIG.3)
- To secure the base, use two M8 screws complete with nuts
and washers (material not supplied) inserted in the slots
A1. Make sure you position the rivet spinner on the work
bench as illustrated.
13.2 MOUNTING THE CHAIN GUIDE DISCS (FIG.4)
- To secure the two chain guide discs G2, screw the four V4
screws into the four holes F1
14. CHAIN INFORMATION
The chain must be completely inspected before spinning its
rivets to make sure it is intact.

15. CHAIN IDENTIFICATION
- Before you start spinning the rivets of the chain, you need
to know the type of chain involved. You will find this infor-
mation in the owner's manual of the chain saw on which
the chain is fitted or on the chain pack.
