Preset the desired medium temperature for the surface heating system
with the dial.
The return temperature limit valve senses the current medium temperature
and opens or closes the valve accordingly.

3.1.3 Functional description
BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR is used for single-room temperature control and
for limiting the return temperature in a surface heating system.
57
The integrated thermostat valve is equipped with a pre-adjustable valve
insert, which enables the precise adjustment of the volume flow to
the necessary heat requirements (see diagram in Appendix) as well as
hydraulic balancing.
Select the installation position of BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR in such a way
that the heating water first flows through the heating circuit and then
through the BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR valve. The heating medium cools
down on its way from the heated area to BEKOTEC-THERM-RTBR.
The flow is controlled by the sensor element installed in the volume flow.
The automatic thermostat controls the desired room temperature. The
temperature of the surface heating system can be adjusted with the dial
at the return temperature limit valve (see Fig. 3 on page 23).
The desired room temperature can be set with the dial at the automatic
thermostat.
The recommended setting range is between approx. 25 °C and
Installation in rooms without additional radiators must be coordinated
in advance and is feasible with consideration for the required basic
heat demand and the applicable standards and directives.
