MAKING SCREW JOINTS
Drilling holes on the edge
Use the CMT400-2 chuck adaptor with a drill bit for 5mm diameter blind holes. Hole depth range is
shown in (Fig. 3 and 8). For drilling depth setting, see the section above (Making dowel joints).
Fix the metal stop ring in the hole at the system edge. Position the CMT400-2 on the work piece so
that the end stop touches the front edge of the work piece and the clamps are pointing towards the
opposite side of the work piece (Fig. 10).
