8 . OPERATING PROBLEMS

Before carrying out any repair or maintenance
CAUTION !
work, DISCONNECT THE PUMP FROM THE
ELECTRICITY SUPPLY.
To prevent an operating incident with respect to the parts under-
pressure, these should be decompressed in advance (ventiation of
anti-reflux device and draining of reservoir, if necessary with the
hand pump).

AN IRREGULAR MANNER
AND MAKES A LOT OF
NOISE

a) Lack of current :

e) Winding temperature too high,
winding temperature probe

f) The degassing pipe of the pump

b) Clean the pump inlet in the tank.
c) Contact the Salmson after-sales service.

e) After cooling, the motor restarts automatically.
f) Clean the degassing pipe.
a) Remove the deposits in the pump and/or in the reservoir.
b) Switch two phase wires to supply (three-phase only).
c) Replace worn parts.
d) Clean the non-return valve.
e) Check the level controller.
f) Open the valve completely.
g) Contact the Salmson after-sales service.
