Notes
These installation instructions depict the basic carrier bars
being mounted on the CLS-Class (model series C 219). The
installation is carried out in the same manner on the
following vehicles: CLS-Class (model series C 218), S-Class
(model series W/V 221), R-Class (model series 251),
C-Class (model series W 204), E-Class (model series
W 212), and the E-Class Coupe (model series C 207).
Please contact a qualified specialist workshop if you
encounter difficulties when mounting the basic carrier bars.
Mercedes-Benz recommends that you use a Mercedes-Benz
Service Center for this purpose.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change any technical
details from those shown in the illustrations contained in
these installation instructions.
For safety reasons, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you
only use accessories that have been approved for
Mercedes-Benz specifically for use with these carrier bars.
The following accessories cannot be attached to this basic
carrier system:

Replacement parts for New Alustyle basic carrier bars can
be obtained from any authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
The key number is stamped on the keys. Make a note of the
key number here in case you have to order extra keys at
some time in the future.
