5.INSTALLATION TO WALL
Install the heater on the wall at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the ceiling. (see installation examples). The height at which the
heaters are normally installed varies from 2.0 metres to a maximum of 2.3 m. Wall mounting is the ideal solution to achieve the best
results in terms of heat with the reflector at a 45° angle and the heater perfectly horizontal. The appliance must not be placed
immediately below a mains socket.
6.INSTALLATION UNDER A PARASOL (code 11BX5/11FMX5)
1. Do not close the parasol until the heater has been switched off and has cooled down.
2. If the heater is removed from the parasol, use a water tight plug for the connection.
3. If the heater is left on the parasol, make sure that it is mounted so that the heater's shield cannot come into contact with
the canvas of the parasol; this will avoid damage.

7.INSTALLATION IN THE BATHROOM

The fixed installation of HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11, inside a bathroom, must be made in a way that switches and controls cannot
be touched by those who are under the shower or inside the bath.
8.POSITIONING OF HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11
1. Aim the HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 reflector in the direction required for the wall-mounted installation. The normal angle is
45° to the horizontal plane.
2. Never install HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 on an inflammable surface or facing an inflammable surface.
3. HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 must be placed at a clear distance (line of vision) of not less than 2.0 metres from objects such as
cardboard, fabrics, curtains and windows. If used in workshops and garages where there are inflammable paints, HELIOSA®
HI DESIGN 11 must be located more than 4 metres away from the hazard.
4. We recommend that the heater HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 is not used in dusty non-ventilated environments to avoid
damage to the bulb.
9.WIRE GUARD
1. The wire guard should be used if protection is required (for example sports halls or places where games are played). In
areas where indoor football is played, it may be necessary to fit additional external guarding to cope with the force of
impact.
2. The wire guard is simply clipped over the front of the reflector.
3. The wire guard must be installed when the heater is fixed under a height of 2,5 m from the floor level and this
assembly must be done during installation and by a qualified electrician.
4. The HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 protective wire guard has been designed to prevent direct access to the heating elements and
must not be removed while the heater is being used.
5. The wire guard does not guarantee full protection for children or the disabled.
10. MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF BULB
(TO BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED STAFF OR SPECIALIZED TECHNICIAN)

THE GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF BULB.

REPLACEMENT OF BULB IS TO BE PERFORMED ONLY BY PROFESSIONALLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL OR BY A SERVICING
CENTRE.

REMOVE DUST FROM THE REFLECTOR AND BULB PERIODICALLY WITH BRUSH OR COMPRESSED AIR FOR CONSTANT
HELIOSA® HI DESIGN 11 HEAT EFFICIENCY.
•
THE REPLACEMENT BULB MUST BE THE SAME AS THE BULB SUPPLIED WITH THE DEVICE.
•
REPLACEMENT WITH OTHER BULBS MAY DAMAGE THE DEVICE AND CAUSE IT TO BE UNSAFE. CONTACT STAR PROGETTI OR
THE RETAIL OUTLET AUTHORIZED TO SELL THE REPLACEMENT BULB, SPECIFYING THE MODEL AND CODE OF THE
PURCHASED HEATER.

THE INJECTION POINT ON THE BULB (c) MUST ALWAYS FACE OUTWARDS.
BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THE BULB REPLACEMENT, OPERATORS MUST:

FULLY DISCONNECT THE DEVICE FROM POWER SUPPLY AND MAKE SURE THE BULB IS COLD
•
NOT TOUCH THE BULB WITH THEIR BARE HANDS
