Installing the receiving system in the fuselage
Fig. 19
- Remove the output arms from the rudder and elevator
servos.
- Fit the servos in the fuselage, running the leads forward
into the receiver bay.
Fig. 20
- Connect the servo output arms to the pushrods.
- Fit the output arms on the servos, and secure them with
the servo output screws.
- Secure each servo with a drop of cyano at the mounting
lugs.
Fig. 21
- Connect the servos to the receiver in the sequence stat-

Fig. 22
- Place the receiver in the receiver bay.
- Press the receiver aerial into the cable duct in the outside
of the fuselage, and run it to the tail of the model.
Installing the power system
Figs. 23 and 24
- Read the operating instructions supplied with the various
components before completing the next stage.
- Solder the appropriate connectors to the leads attached
to the motor, speed controller and battery, and insulate
each joint with a heat-shrink sleeve.
Fig. 25
- Attach the motor to the motor bulkhead using four M3 x 8
screws and washers.
Fig. 26
- Switch the transmitter on, and set the throttle stick to idle.
- Connect the speed controller to the motor and receiver,
and connect the battery.
- Hold the motor bulkhead firmly, and slowly open the
throttle.
- The motor shaft should now rotate in the direction shown
by the arrow; if not, swap over any two of the three wires
between the motor and the speed controller.
- If necessary, mark which pairs of wire are connected
