DANGER
Risk of injury and device damage when handled by
unauthorised persons
Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious
injuries and damage to the device. The product warranty will be rendered
invalid if work is carried out on the product by unauthorised persons.
• Operating, maintenance, cleaning and repair work must only be carried
out by qualified personnel (in Germany, see TRBS 1203).
Please observe the attached 'Warranty' document. In the event of any doubts
and/or problems, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer.
NOTICE
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding
components, such as the power source, welding torch system, coolant
recirculator etc.
Cause
• Tungsten electrode and plasma
nozzle make contact
• Distance between tungsten
electrode and plasma nozzle too
large
• Tungsten electrode is worn out or
oxidised
• Distance between the workpiece
and the torch too large
• Pilot arc does not burn
• Inadequate coolant flow
• Welding current too high
• Coolant hose or liquid-cooled
power cable constricted or sealed

• Re-adjust the electrode
