Selecting the valve supply
The valve power supply can be selected block-wise with the S4
sliding switch. It is possible to switch between the valve supply
from the PROFIBUS line and the U
external supply.
At delivery, all switches are set to position 1.
Commissioning and operation
NOTE
This diagnostic message is displayed if a
valve reports an overload or short circuit.
The diagnostic message is only displayed as
long as this valve is actuated.
In order to ensure safe valve switching, the
switch voltage must be 20.4 V or 21.6 V! If
the UQ voltage is between 12.5 V and 20.4 V/
21.6 V, the voltage is too low. The low voltage
message appears approx. 10 ms after being
turned on and approx. 20 ms after being
turned off. If the voltage is lower than 12.5 V,
this is reported separately.
The threshold 20.4 V/21.6 V can be adjusted
for different valve series.
