1 Introduction
• These instructions have been created for the Positioner type 5250. They provide information on how the product is
to be installed by specialized personnel trained or authorized by the manufacturer, and how it must be operated by
your staff after they have been properly instructed in its handling.
• Be sure to read these Original Instructions for Use carefully before putting the Positioner into service, making sure
that the information provided herein has been well understood and will be strictly observed in handling the product.
• Only the original version in the German language shall be legally binding exclusively.

We declare with sole responsibility that this product has been developed, designed and manufactured in compliance
with the applicable EC Directive 2006/42/EC on machinery.
The following standards have been observed: DIN EN 12100:2011-03 and DIN 15112:1979-05

This EC Declaration of Conformity shall become invalid if the Positioner is rebuilt or modified in any way without our
consent.

4 Warranty
We warrant the functionality of this product and the flawlessness of its materials for a period of 24 months, starting on
the date of delivery. However, this warranty excludes the consequences of normal wear and tear, overload, improper
use and use of third-party spare parts.
Claims under this warranty can only be accepted if the product has been handed over to us in undismantled condition.
Any damage caused by defective materials or manufacturing defects will be remedied free of charge by way of
replacement or repair. Our Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply.
5 Rating plate
• The rating plate is attached to the housing.
• It provides you with information regarding type and permissible load range.
• The rating plate also includes the CE marking.
