in malfunction, and do not use spare parts that are not original.
5.2 Use
WARNING
The set-up of the device installation and maintenance must be carried out by professionals only.
• Do not leave the appliance running without supervising it.
• During use, your hands should be dry.
• Do not move or tilt the device during operation.
Evacuation of combustion products
Type A1: For this type of appliance, the combustion products are evacuated directly, through the
rectangular opening made at the top, to the room where the fryer is installed. The latter does not
necessarily have to be connected to a suction pipe to the outside.
When installing the fryer, care must be taken to ensure that the outlet of the combustion products is not
blocked by any wall or other obstacle.
It is recommended to place the fryer under a fume extractor hood in order to ensure perfect evacuation of
the combustion gases.
Gas connection
Before connecting the fryer, check whether the gas supply pressure is adequate to ensure proper operation
of the fryer and whether the type of gas distributed corresponds to the requirements of the machine (see
nameplate placed on the side of the machine ).
The appliance is fitted with a G ½ "diameter threaded gas outlet and one of its ends has been designed to
accommodate a gasket.
Check the inlet gas pressure, paying close attention to pressure losses in the distribution network; if
necessary, place a stabilizer or a gas pressure regulator so that the inlet pressure to the fryer does not
exceed that indicated on the identification plate placed on the appliance.
When installing the fryer, either rigid or flexible pipes can be used.
If rigid pipes are used, a gas shut-off valve should be provided as close as possible to the connection to the
fryer. If, on the contrary, a flexible pipe is used, the latter must be regulatory and approved.
Connect the fryer to the gas distribution network in accordance with the standards in force at the place of
installation. When the unit is installed, check that the connections do not lose.
During this check, never bring a flame near the fryer.
Rated thermal power control
In the event of a new installation or when the fryer is adapted to a type of gas different from that for which it
was designed, and after each maintenance operation, it must be checked whether the thermal power
corresponds to the indications contained in this manual. , contacting the authorized installer or the
distribution company.
The nominal heat output is shown in the data table on the rating of the device and refers to each model in
particular.
Inlet pressure control
Check if the fryer is correctly set for the type of gas with which it is supplied, by checking the data on the
nameplates. If this is not the case, modify or adapt the fryer according to the
indications given in the chapter "Problems and solutions".
The inlet pressure can be checked using a U-shaped manometer (minimum resolution 0.1 mbar), by
proceeding as follows:
Loosen the sealing screw "A" and check the supply pressure by connecting the nipple "B" to the pressure
gauge.
The supply gas pressure must be checked when the burner is in operation. If the inlet pressure is not
between the values indicated, the fryer cannot be started and the
must notify the gas distribution company.
