Light control operation
Application and functionality
The light management system integrated in each luminaire
controls lighting at the workplace depending on daylight and
the presence of people, to increase work comfort and save
power.
If insufficient daylight exists when a movement is detected
the luminaire switches on automatically. The required lighting
level is preset by the user as the nominal value. During lumi-
naire operation the lighting level is maintained at the nominal
value. If no more movement is detected or if sufficient daylight
is available the system switches the luminaire off.
A wireless connection between several luminaires in a room
enables expansion of the presence detection range. Expanding
presence detection can be for several zones in a room or for
the complete room.

Automatic functions
The luminaire switches on if a movement is detected. It func-
tions with daylight-dependent control if this is activated (see
page 21 and 22, function mode).
Delay
Automatic luminaire switching off is implemented after a set-
table delay time has expired if no presence was detected in this
time. With active light control, the luminaire is also switched
off with continuously sufficient daylight following expiry of this
delay time.
Switching on again via movement detection after switching off
with the push-button
If the luminaire has been switched off with the push-button
(see manual functions), automatic switching on again due to
presence detection is only implemented when no movement
has been detected for the complete duration of the set delay
time.
