Inserting/changing batteries
For use, you need 2 batteries of type R03/R03 (AAA), 1.5 V.
1. Push the locking tab slightly towards the battery compartment cover and remove
the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries as indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay
attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Replace the battery compartment cover. The locking tab must snap securely into
place.
Notes on changing the battery:
The batteries need to be changed when "Lo" or nothing is shown on
the display.
Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical data".
Always change all batteries at the same time.
Dispose of old batteries in an environmentally appropriate way
(see "Disposal").
Operation
Weighing
1. Place the scale on an even, firm, and dry surface. Carefully position the scale in order
to avoid hard shocks to the sensors/feet and therefore any damage.
2. Switch on the scales by pressing with a little force on the weighing surface for
2 seconds.
3. Wait a moment for the scale to stabilise (display
4. Use the UNIT button to select the correct setting for the material to be weighed.

Solid material to be weighed

To choose between different units of measurement, repeatedly press UNIT
until the desired unit of measurement is displayed:
For solid material to be weighed: "g" (gram) and "lb:oz" (pound)
For liquid material to be weighed: "ml" (millilitre) and "fl`oz" (fluid ounce)
