SERVICE ACTION
• Check the CH flow NTC probe (*).
• Check the continuity of the CH flow probe wiring.
• Make sure the wiring has not shorted.
• Check the DHW NTC probe (*).
• Check the continuity of the DHW probe wiring
• Make sure the wiring has not shorted.
• Check the fumes NTC probe (**).
• Check the continuity of the fumes probe wiring
• Check the continuity of the earth connections between
the electronic board (X4 connector) and the power
supply terminal block.
• Replace the electronic board.
• If the pressure in the CH circuit is < 0.5 bar, perform
filling (see the FILLING THE SYSTEM section).
• Check the hydraulic pressure switch works correctly.
• Check the continuity of the hydraulic pressure switch
wiring
• Check whether the power supply reductions are due
to reasons other than the boiler. If so, contact the
electricity provider.
• Check pump operation (unscrew the front cap and
release the rotor with a screwdriver).
• Check the pump power input wiring.
• Check the CH flow NTC probe (*).
• Check whether the exchanger is clogged.
• Secure the clip of the DHW NTC probe to the pipe
and check the contact with the heat-sensitive surface.
• Check the DHW NTC probe (*).
• Check the continuity of the earth connections between
the electronic board (X4 connector) and the power
supply terminal block.
• Check the flame sensing electrode is in good
condition and correctly positioned (see the
POSITIONING THE IGNITION AND FLAME-
SENSING ELECTRODE section).
• Check the fumes NTC probe (**).
• Make sure the fumes probe wiring has not shorted.
• Check the gas supply pressure (for natural gas
Palim.>9mbar).
• Check the connection of the gas valve modulator
wiring to the electronic board.
• Check that the pressure at the burner has been
correctly calibrated (see the GAS VALVE section).
• Check the flame sensing electrode is in good
condition and correctly positioned (see the
POSITIONING THE IGNITION AND FLAME-
SENSING ELECTRODE section).
• Check the fumes NTC probe (**).
• Make sure the air and flue ducts are not obstructed
and have been correctly installed (they must not
exceed the prescribed maximum lengths and must
be fitted with the correct diaphragm – see the
INSTALLING THE DUCTS section).
• Check that the fan power supply wiring is connected
to the electronic board.
• Make sure the air and flue ducts are not obstructed
and have been correctly installed (they must not
exceed the prescribed maximum lengths and must
be fitted with the correct diaphragm – see the
INSTALLING THE DUCTS section).
