DBS Extension
The DBS Extension consists of a connector at the distal end and 8 cylindrical contacts at the
proximal end. The DBS Lead may be inserted and secured into the connector, which also contains
8 contacts that align with the contacts on the DBS Lead to form electrical connections. The DBS
Extension can be implanted and attached to the Stimulator and the DBS Lead for both unilateral
stimulation (on either left or right side) and bilateral stimulation.
