GB.1 INTRODUCTION
Your new Tennant 3400 Commercial Vacuum Cleaning Machine
is designed for the professional daily maintenance of carpets. If the
safety precautions and maintenance instructions are strictly
adhered to, you will enjoy many years of trouble free operation. A
provision is that this manual is carefully read and understood by all
operators. In the unlikely event of technical defects or faults then
please contact your nearest Tennant dealer.
GB.2 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The Tennant 3400 is designed for the vacuuming of non-
explosive dusts. It is designed for commercial vacuum
cleaning applications e.g. hospitals, hotels, schools, offices
and factories.
All electrical parts are thoroughly secured and protected and
can only be removed with the correct tools.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for
electrical current to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This
