Getting started
Before proceeding with camera installation, we
advice to establish the connection with the router
first . Before installing the product in a desired
location, check the connection to verify whether
no electromagnetic disturbances exist in the area .
1. Installing the microSD card
(not included)
If you intend to record videos, install a microSD
memory card before mounting the camera .
Open the microSD card holder
Push in the microSD card against the spring,
pins down, until it locks in place .
Removing the microSD card: First gently push
the card in and then pull it out .
NOTE: During operation keep the microSD
card holder
cover closed at all times, or the

water might enter the product .
NOTE: We recommend to use a Class 10
rated microSD card or higher . A low speed card
can be damaged during high speed FHD (full
high definition) recording .
2. Installing the camera
NOTE: For installation and alignment of the
camera all laws of the country of usage have
to be observed .
NOTE: Cordless systems are exposed to
interference of telephones, microwaves, as well
as other electronic devices operating in the
2 .4 GHz range . Maintain a minimum distance
of 3 metres from those devices during installation
and operation .

NOTE: Install the camera at a height and
position at which it cannot be reached without
aid . Proceed likewise with the splitter and Ethernet
cable . It is suggested to install the camera at least
2 .5 metres above the ground (Fig . C1) .
Stick the wall mounting template
wall, eave or ceiling using the duct tape (not
provided) in the desired mounting position .
Drill 3 mounting holes (Ø 6 mm, 1/4")
(Fig . D1) . Drill 1 hole (Ø 16 mm, 5/8") in the
wall for use as a cable guide (Fig . D2) .

Insert the wall plugs

Loosen the union nut
mounting 8 angle for easier installation .
Pull the camera connection cable
the cable hole (Fig . E) .
Use sealing compound (e .g . silicone, not
provided) to seal the cable hole .
Place the wall mounting 8 against the wall .
Fix the wall mounting 8 to the mounting
surface using the screws
Adjust the camera angle to the desired
position . Tighten the union nut
Mark the area under surveillance with the
provided Under surveillance sticker
NOTE: If the cable hole has to be located
away from the wall mounting 8 location, you
can feed the camera connection cable
through the camera's recess in the wall mounting
