6.4.2.2 Cap maintenance
(See attached images A7 and A18)
Press on the
button to access the cap maintenance
management page.
In the cap maintenance management page (attached
image A21) you can change the number of welds that
can be made before maintenance of the electrodes is
required (for further information, see the subchapter
"Electrode maintenance check function ").
If the value is set to 0, the function is disabled.

6.4.2.3 Backing up programs

Press the
button to access the program backup
page.
Users with administrator rights can create a backup
copy of the welding programs on a USB flash drive.
The backup is made by plugging a flash drive into
the machine and selecting the "PROGRAM BACKUP"
option from the setup menu.
If the flash drive already contains a backup file of the
same machine, it will be overwritten.
If a flash drive containing a backup of the welding
programs is plugged into the machine, they can be
transferred to the control system.

A USB 2.0 port is installed on the machine solely for use
of a flash drive.
USB HARD DISKS, mouses or PCs cannot be connected
via the port.

Working modes

The system can be used in three different working
modes:
• In SMART + mode
choose the welding parameters as they are
automatically determined by the control.
• In QUICK mode
selection of welding program parameters
• In FULL mode
welding program parameters.
6.5.1 SMART+ working mode
(See attached image A23)
In SMART + mode, the machine automatically identifies
the materials between the electrodes and selects the
most suitable parameters to perform the work.
During the welding process, compensation is
automatically made for any conditions that require
adjustment of the welding parameters, such as poorly
coupled metal sheets or the presence of paint or glue
between them.
The user is not required to make any adjustments,
except for setting the type of arms and electrodes used.
When the welding in the area is completed (1), the time,
current and force values that were used are displayed.
The parameters for the last welds can be viewed by
selecting their icons in area (2).
The result of the welding is shown through the icons
on the display.
