6.5.3.4 Managing the photos attached to the
programs
(See attached images A28 and A29)
To edit the photos attached to the welding programs,
press button (9), which activates the display of
the attachments. The attached photos will also be
displayed in the list of programs.
Pressing on icon (7) displays boxes (8) through which
one or more attachments can be selected.
The same edit, copy and delete operations described
above can also be performed on the selected
attachments.
Photos can be entered via a USB flash drive.
After inserting a flash drive into the machine, you can
select which memory you want to display via icon (10)
(10A) Internal memory in the control
(10B) Flash drive memory
To copy a file from the Flash drive to the control
memory:
• Press on icon (10) to display the files contained in
the Flash drive (10B),
• Press button (7) to activate the check boxes (8).
• Select the image file you want to copy using the
check boxes (8)
• and press on icon (10) to select the internal memory
in the control (10A)
• press button (11)
The photo file must have a JPG or PNG extension, with
a maximum resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
It must have the same name as the program with which
it is to be associated, with both upper and lower case
letters matching.

Electrode maintenance control

When the programmed number of welds is reached,
maintenance of the electrodes is required (attached
image A30).
After replacing the electrodes or restoring their original
condition, the control system must be informed by

Once this is done, the calibration procedure will
have to be repeated (For further information, see the
"Calibration"sub-chapter).
Even if the feature is deactivated, after performing
maintenance on the electrodes, the control system
must be informed of the maintenance carried out.

"NO WELD" function
(See attached image A7)
The "NO WELD" function is activated by pressing the
or
icon.
The prohibition symbol appears on the left side of the
display (attached image A31).
When this function is active, the gun closes the
electrodes but does not execute the weld.
The welding force is adjusted to about half the
maximum limit with the arm installed. In addition, the
circulation of the coolant in the gun is stopped.
This function is useful for:
• performing tests on the positioning of the gun on
the welding point,
• aligning the arms and electrodes,
• stopping the cooling in order to replace the
electrodes,
• locking the electrodes after their replacement.
To deactivate the function, press once more on the
gun or electrodes icons.
