Opening the arm

the fixed arm can be opened to allow it to pass over
obstacles.
To open the arm, follow the instructions below:
• Turn off the machine.
• Undo the screw (1).
• Open the fixed arm (2).
• Having bypassed the obstacle, return the arm into
position (2).
• Tighten the screw (1).
• Switch on the machine.
CAUTION
Check that the arm is properly secured.
The position of the marking on the screw
must align with the green dot on the
body of the gun.
WARNING
Each arm is equipped with a cover to
protect the zone of contact between the
arm and the gun from accidental knocks
that could dent the coupling profile and
from any impurities which could scratch
and damage the surface.

Replacing the arm
(See attached image A6)
To replace them the arm, follow the instructions below:
• Turn off the machine.
• Undo the screw (1).
• Disengage the bolt (3).
• Remove the arm (2).
• Clean and apply the supplied CU grease on the
contact surfaces between the body of the gun and
the arm.
• Position the new arm in its housing.
• Close the bolt (3)
• Turn the arm (2) until it is fully home.
• Tighten the screw (1).
• Switch on the machine.
CAUTION
When the electrodes have be refitted,
they should be aligned and ready for
welding.
• Clean the previously removed arm.
• Insert the protective cover and place it in position.

Replacing the mobile electrode
holder
(See attached image A5)
To replace the mobile electrode holder, follow the
instructions below:
• Turn off the machine.
• Unscrew the electrode holder (4).
• Clean and apply the high conductivity grease
supplied on the contact surfaces.
• For non-cooled arms only, insert the supplied
connection tube into the cooling fittings (5).
• Switch on the machine.
