9. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Maintenance routines performable by the OD-590, OD-591, OD-592,
operator are listed in this section. More advanced routines (i.e., procedures
involving repairs or adjustments within the instrument) should be referred to
our customer service.
Cleaning
•
Disconnect AC Power Cord from the instrument before cleaning.
•
Use a soft cloth dampened in a solution of mild detergent and water.
Do not spray any liquid into the unit.
•
Do not use chemicals or cleaners containing benzene, toluene,
xylene, acetone or other harsh chemicals.
Maintenance
Battery Option Installation / Battery replacement
The rechargeable battery option must be installed or replaced by
qualified personnel in Promax or by an authorized Service Center.
The battery must be handled only by qualified personnel since it could
present a burn risk or chemical scald if it is bad handled.
