Function of the Unit

3.1

Operation

 The apparatus must be connected to an external air supply. We recommend to use our air
blower.
 If you connect to a compressor, an oil- and water separator must be superposed.
 An additional air regulation can be done on the rear handle.
 The adjusted temperature by the poti has been controlled electronically.
 When work is finished pull off the power plug and for cooling the heating element let the ex-
ternal air supply run for approx. 1 minute.
Do not let the apparatus run without charge. Do not close the air escape.
Put down the apparatus on a fire resistant base!

Replacement of heating element

Heating Element 1500 W, no. 55800
 Loosen the 4 screws on the heating element and pull the tube forwards.
 The element is pushed into place and is removed by simply pulling out.
 Reverse the procedure to fit the new element
IMPORTANT: The insulation tube must always be put back into place!

Both testing and maintenance works must be carried out by our service departments or by an
electrician only.
