Installation
Data to design the installation
NOTE: if the system has sanitary valve AND pool valve,
they are expected to be both either before or after the
Comfort Module.
Sanitary hot water tank
Carrier provides 200lt and 300lt sanitary water tanks (60STS-
STD series), fully compatible with the Comfort Module,
but it's possible to use other sanitary water tank. Use the
variable table to define:
- The output for sanitary electric heater (Booster Heater).
- If the sanitary water temperature sensor (NTC 10kΩ at
25°C) is available.
Proportional valve
A proportional valve can be used to have an additional
control of the water temperature; it is possible to configure in
the variable table the output for Open and Close commands.
Installation recommendation
Please refer to the Safety information manual.
This device is destined for installation in sheltered
buildings, if possible insulated. It should not be installed
in very humid rooms (for example laundry rooms) or
where it may be subjected to water projections or spray.
The allowed ambient temperature is 5÷30°C.
The module is fixed to the wall; make sure the support is
sufficiently strong.
Fix the module using screws/wall plug fixings adapted to
the wall structure and the module weight.
When possible, allow a space of minimum 70 cm below
and 30 cm on each side of the module for piping
connections and ease of maintenance.
Install a water filter (see pic. 3); warranty is void if filter is
not installed.

80HMA
Humidifier/Dehumidifier
Comfort Module can send a command to an humidifier
and dehumidifier using the connectors available and
configuring them in the variable table.
Gas boiler back up
An external back up boiler can be connected directly to the
Comfort Module version 80HMA-M00, or in the hydraulic
circuit. In the second case, connect it only before the
Comfort Module.
Use Par. 80 and Par. 81 of variable table to define the
position of sanitary/pool valve/s and gas boiler.
Additional User Interface
Comfort Module is provided with a user interface (Master
User Interface). In order to use the user interface for room
comfort, it's possible to remote it in the room or to add an
additional one. Use the variable table to define the Master
User Interface and the comfort zone user interface.
