Network configuration
First network configuration
After the installation of all the devices, heat pumps and
user interfaces in the system, follow these steps for the first
network configuration.
It is strongly suggested to write down all the boards and
user interfaces serial number and the relevant position in
the system during the installation phase. The serial number
positions are shown in pic. 14:

C User interface
An example of possible table, referred to schema in pic. 13,
to record all addresses and serial numbers is shown below:

These instructions are made for a system with more boards
and devices connected, but can be used for small system too.
Refer to paragraph "Variable Table" for the instruction to
enter and modify it.
Follow this step using the master User Interface.
1. Enter in the Variable Table, using key
121 and press .
2. Set the value of Par. 121 to 1 and press .
3. Press
again and set the value of Par. 121 to 7, and
press .
4. Press
again and set the value of Par. 121 to 2, and
press .
5. Press
again and set the value of Par. 121 to 5, and
press .
6. Press
again and set the value of Par. 121 to 6, and
press . The number 0 could be shown if the auto
addressing has no error.
7. Go on Par. 122 and check if the number of devices
counted is right (fixed speed Carrier heat pump and dry
contact heat pump are not counted). If the number is
wrong, check all the connections and repeat from point 1.
8. Associate this user interface to the Master Board. In
that way this interface will becomes the Master User
Interface.
I. Check on Par. 128, the address assigned to this user
interface, and go out from Variable Table pressing
II. Push for more than 5 second
10 (default for Master Boards), then press
III. Check if the Zone selected is 1 (zone icon has to
show 1
). Otherwise click on
Master User Interface is the Zone 1 user interface
of Master board (address 10). To connect a second
user interface to Master Board, repeat these step
selecting Zone 2.

IV. Enter in the Variable Table and change Par. 126 to
the value read in Par. 128 in the step I.
9. Check the correspondence between the addresses
assigned and the serial number of all user interfaces (if
more than 1 user interface is connected):
I. Push for more than 5 seconds
Then push again for more then 5 seconds
select address 85. Press
II. Check in variable table the Par. 123. It shows the
serial number of the board with address 85.
III. Record this address and serial number.
IV. Exit from variable table and repeat from step 9.I,
increasing the address, for all the user interfaces
connected.
10. Check the correspondence between the addresses
assigned and the serial number of all slave boards (if
more than 1 slave board is connected), and associate
them to the relevant user interface:
I. Push for more than 5 seconds
Then push again for more then 5 seconds
select address 21. Press
II. Use
to switch to zone 1
III. Check in variable table the Par. 123. It shows the
serial number of the board with address 21.
IV. Record this address and serial number.
V. Set in Par. 126 the address of the User Interface to
be connected to this boards and zone. If no user
interface is connected, select 0.
VI. If the slave board addressed is a 2 zones boards,
exit from Variable Table, select zone 2 using
repeat from Step 10.V.
VII. In case of more then one Slave Boards, repeat
from step 10.I, selecting address from 22 above, till
complete all the slave boards connected.
11. Check the correspondence between the addresses
assigned and the serial number of all 30AWH heat
pumps (if more than one 30AWH is used)
I. Push for more than 5 seconds
push again for more then 5 seconds
address 2. Press
II. Check the Par. 123. It shows the serial number of the
board with address 2.
III. Record this address and serial number
IV. Repeat from step 11.I, increasing the address, for all
30AWH installed.
12. Exit from Variable Table, pressing
