Connection of the BCL 900i bar code reader
The BCL 900i bar code reader is connected to the MA 900 via a KB 900-... inter-
connection cable with 17-pin M12 socket and 25-pin SubD connector. This inter-
connection cable is available in three lengths:
- KB 900-1000, 1m long, Part no. 50129764
- KB 900-3000, 3m long, Part no. 50129763
- KB 900-5000, 5m long, Part no. 50129765
Information on connecting multiple bar code readers (master/slave arrangements)
can be found in the operating instructions.
Connection of the MSC 900 modular scanner controller
The MSC 900 modular scanner controller is connected to the MA 900 via the
KB 900-1000 MSC interconnection cable (length 1m, part no. 50129766) with two,
25-pin SubD connectors.
Further information on connecting the MSC 900 modular scanner controller and
multiple bar code readers (scanner portal solutions) can be found in the operating
instructions.
Grounding the connected BCL 900i / MSC 900
A jumper on the circuit board of the MA 900 can be used to set how the housing of
the connected BCL 900i or MSC 900 is grounded.
