Oven Vent
When the oven is hi use the area near the vent may become
hot enough to cause burns. Never Mock the vent opening.
The oven vent is located below the backgaard
on your
range.
When high moisture foods are cooked in the upper oven.
steam may be vbiMe coming from the oven vent. This is
normal

Oven Lights
The oven Nightsautomatically come on whenever

an oven door is opened. When the door is dosed...Oven [i_hy_
press the Oven Light pad to turn the oven Night
on or off=A beep wH[ sound every time the Oven
Light pad is pressed.
Oven
Bottom
Protect oven bottom against spiiiovers, especially acidic or
sugary spills, as they may discolor the porcelain enamel. Use
the correct pan size to avoid spiiiovers and boiiovers=Do not
place atensims or amaminam foil directly on the oven
bottom°
Oven Racks
Do nat use the oven for storing food or cookware.
All racks are designed with a lock-stop edge.
Upper oven
° Is equipped with one rack and rack
position.
, When pulling the upper oven rack out to
remove or check food. grasp the top edge
of the rack.
Lower oven

rack and two regular flat

To remove
oven racks:
, Pull rack straight out until it stops at the lock-stop position;
lift up on the front of the rack and pull out=

To replace
oven racks:
, Place rack on the rack support in
the oven; tilt the front end up
slightly; slide rack back until it
clears the lock-stop position; lower
front and slide back into the oven,
Oven Fan
A convection fan is used to circulate hot air in the oven when
the convection feature is selected. It automatically turns on
after the Convect Bake or Convect Roast pads are pressed
and will turn off when convection is canceled.
Note: The convection fans will automatically stop when
the oven door is opened.
Baking and Roasting
