For proper cleaning and removal of any deposits in the parts through which liquids pass, also always
completely with draw the piston from the cylinder after rinsing with a suitable cleaning solution. If
necessary, the parts can also be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
10.1 Cleaning, Analog-adjustable model, Fixed-volume model
1. Completely emptying the instrument
a.
Screw the instrument onto an empty bottle and empty it completely by dispensing. If the instru-
ment is equipped with a recirculation valve, it must be emptied in both the 'dispense' and 'recircu-
late' settings.
2. Rinsing the instrument
a.
Screw the instrument onto a bottle filled with a suitable cleaning agent (e.g. deionized water) and
rinse the instrument several times by completely filling and emptying it.
3. Removing pistons
Avoid swapping pistons
The pistons and cylinders are individually matched, and should not be swapped with pistons from
other instruments!
