needed, the IND780 PDX terminal must be used.
When used as part of a PDX cell network, the IND560x PDX provides several
diagnostic features such as automated alerts and cell performance monitoring.
These features help lower maintenance costs and minimize downtime.
Isolated Serial Ports
The IND560 PDX is designed for use in environments where the connecting cables
may be exposed to lightning surges. To help protect the terminal from damage,
both the serial ports on the main board are electrically isolated. This eliminates the
difference in ground levels that can damage the interface circuitry.
IND560 PDX Overview
The IND560 PDX represents the latest release from the IND560 family of terminals.
Along with the standard IND560 and IND560x, the IND560 PDX reinforces this
terminal family's position as one of the most versatile weighing terminals available
in the market today.
The IND560 PDX terminal supports most of the same hardware and software
features as the standard IND560. Support for the new POWERVELL PDX load cell

Interface
The new IND560 PDX terminal supports the new POWERCELL PDX
load cell and can also be used as a remote display for terminals
with a continuous output. It does not support standard analog load
cells or IDNet interface. The standard IND560 continues to support
analog load cells and the IDNet interface, and can also be used as
a remote display.
POWERCELL PDX Network
The POWERCELL PDX is typically found in vehicle scale
applications. It operates on a digital communications network
using Canbus. The IND560 PDX supports up to a maximum of 14
POWERCELL PDX cells from its internal power supply. An external
