3.10. ACTIVATING COMPONEER BRILLIANT
Dispense One Coat Bond SL directly onto the brush, apply to the contact side of the COMPONEER
BRILLIANT and leave for at least 20 s. Then briefly blow-dry with oil-free air (do not light-cure).
3.11. FIXING THE COMPONEER BRILLIANT
(1) Selection of the composite shade
The base shade is selected at the start of the process.
NOTE
If fillings have to be removed first, the COMPONEER BRILLIANT can be applied with the corresponding dentine
mass and filled palatally after the initial light-curing. This is also applicable for tooth extensions or closure of di-
astema. If the substrate is destroyed or discoloured, a dentine mass can also be used applied over the whole area
(fill cavities with dentine mass first). This ensure homogenous shading.
Enamel mass can be used for shape corrections or simple shade corrections (Enamel Bleach, Transparent). In
general, we recommend applying the COMPONEER BRILLIANT with the homologous enamel shade to prevent
discrepancy in shading in the marginal region as much as possible.
Too much enamel makes the restoration grey and too transparent.
