(5) Placing COMPONEER BRILLIANT in end position
While holding the COMPONEER BRILLIANT in position remove obvious excess and shape the composite to
the COMPONEER BRILLIANT. A matrix previously placed in the interdental space interferes with adhesion of
the teeth. The light-curing cannot be started until the correct position of the veneer has been verified. The
patient should be relaxed and facing straight ahead for the check. Defects that could extend to the palate
can be filled with dentine mass from the palatal direction beforehand.
(6) Light-curing
The light-curing with the polymerisation lamp is best started from the palatal side to prevent build-up of
excessive stress. The palatal light-curing is continued for 40 s at less than 1000 mW/cm
. Then the maxi-
2
mum power is applied from the facial side for 40 s. If a polymerisation lamp with an output less than 1000
mW/cm
is not available, it can be placed at a greatest distance (approx. 5 mm).

After curing and before trimming check that composite is in all the required places, otherwise corrections
must be made at this point. Major corrections can be made with BRILLIANT NG composite, smaller fine cor-
rections can be made with BRILLIANT Flow.
