TO FIT THE BASE TO THE
VEHICLE ISOFIX BARS:
Step 1.

Lift the bottom of the load leg up
untill it clicks into place.
Caution: Keep fingers clear of
moving parts.

Extend BASE ARMS by pressing
buttons in center of base as
shown and pulling BASE arms
out.
Step 3.

Press BASE ARMS to vehicle
BASE arms connectors until they
click onto bars.
Step 4.

Push base back against back of
vehicle seat.
CHECK base is attached to
connectors by pulling out on
base and you see green in
indicators.
Step 5.

Squeeze load leg adjustment
buttons, raise or lower the load
leg to proper height. Make sure
the load leg is secure by pressing
down on the front of the base.
Do not place base with loadleg
on a ledge. If this occurs and the
vehicle seat is adjustable, move
it forward so that the foot is on
the vehicle floor.

USING THE VEHICLE SEAT BELT
Step 6.

Open lock-off
Pull vehicle seat belt
through openings on each
side of base and fasten buckle.
Step 7.

To create a secure installation,
while pushing down on the base,
pull the free end of the lap belt or
the shoulder portion of the lap/
shoulder belt to tighten.
Step 8.

Close lock-off over lap belt and
its belt tail OR over the lap and
lap/shoulder belts.
DO NOT allow vehicle belt
straps or infant carrier straps to
become twisted. Keep them flat.
Check that belt does not move
by pulling and pushing hard on
base. If belt loosens or lengt-
hens, repeat procedure.

NEVER allow any object other
than the vehicle belts to go
under or interfere with the
lock-off. If any other part of the
vehicle belt interferes with the
lock-off choose another
seating location.
If in doubt, contact either the
car seat manufacturer or the
retailer.

For automobiles equipped with
lap-only seat belts. Thread the
seat belt as shown.
DO NOT allow the buckle to
come through the belt opening
as shown.

the base (on certain models)
NOTE: A base for your seat
(which stays attached in the car,
so you can avoid fastening the
vehicle belt each time you go
out) is sold separately through
certain retailers.
