Additional notes
1. Fresh Tetric Ceram HB may be applied on polymerized
material, if necessary. If the restoration has already been
polished, the surface has to be roughened and wetted
with Heliobond before additional Tetric Ceram HB
material is applied.
2. Tetric Ceram HB should be applied at room temperature.
Cool material may be difficult to extrude.
Warnings
– Avoid contact of uncured Tetric Ceram HB with the skin /
mucous membrane or eyes. Uncured Tetric Ceram HB
may cause a slight irritating effect and may lead to a
sensitization against methacrylates.
– Commercial medical gloves do not provide protection
against the sensitizing effect of methacrylates.
Storage
– Do not use Tetric Ceram HB after the indicated date of
expiration.
– Storage temperature 2–28 °C (36–82 °F)
– Close syringes and Cavifils immediately after use. Expo-
sure to light causes premature polymerization.

Beschreibung:
Tetric Ceram HB ist ein lichthärtendes, röntgenopakes
Composite für die Füllungstherapie im Seitenzahnbereich.
Tetric Ceram HB härtet mit Licht der Wellenlänge im Bereich
von 400–500 nm (Blaulicht) aus. Die hochviskose
Konsistenz von Tetric Ceram HB erleichtert den Aufbau
strammer Approximalkontakte.
Zusammensetzung:
Die Monomermatrix besteht aus Bis-GMA, Urethandimeth-
acrylat und Decandioldimethacrylat (19 Gew.%). Die Füll-
stoffe bestehen aus Bariumglas, Ba-Al-Fluorsilikatglas,
Ytterbiumtrifluorid, hochdispersem Siliciumdioxid und
shäroidem Mischoxid (81 Gew.%). Zusätzlich enthalten sind
Additive, Katalysatoren, Stabilisatoren und Pigmente
(0,8 Gew.%).
Der Gesamtgehalt an anorganischem Füller beträgt
81 Gew.% bzw. 63 Vol.%. Die Partikelgrösse liegt zwischen
0,04 und 3,0 µm.
