Testing the
The charger measures the open circuit voltage of the battery. If the battery was not used

If there is no starting procedure after 30 seconds, the charger changes over automatical-
ly to the alternator test. If the starting procedure is not possible, charge (or check) the
battery.
Test alternator
While the engine is running, the charger checks the voltage the alternator is supplying to
the battery.

NOTE! All battery and generator test results are for information only and may
differ from the actual values. The charger checks the entire system. The results
are therefore to be seen as recommendations only.
The best results are obtained when using a direct connection to the battery.

Establish connection to battery
All display elements on the display are activated. Depending on the type of charger,
the respective voltage(s) and/or symbol for the type of battery are displayed.
