RECIPES
With the 2-IN-1 CHURROS & EMPANADA BAKERY you can create fresh,
delicious churros and empanadas at home! Make dough from scratch using
the following recipes, or use your favorite store bought dough.
CHURROS:
Enjoy these Spanish donuts traditionally with hot cocoa or café con leche
(coffee with milk), or dip them in chocolate, whip cream or fruit sauces.

Pour or use a pastry bag to dispense batter in the wells on the Lower Cooking Surface.

Close and lock lid – churros bake in just 3-7 minutes!

Enjoy your freshly baked churros rolled in cinnamon and
sugar, or with your favorite dipping sauces!
EMPANADAS:
Bake a variety of savory or sweet empanadas right in your own kitchen in a
matter of minutes! You can also make delicious pizza pockets, hot ham and
cheese and more. Make dough from scratch, or save time and use pre-made
pie crust or puff pastry from your favorite store. Use the following recipes,
or create your own delectable empanadas. Be creative and have fun!

Cut dough into circles, place in empanada former and fill with desired
ingredients. Close the former to create a perfectly shaped empanada.

Place in the wells on the Lower Cooking Surface. Close and lock
lid – most empanadas bake in just 3-7 minutes!

Enjoy your warm empanadas with sour cream, guacamole or your favorite dipping sauces!
TRADITIONAL CHURROS
•
1 Cup Water
•
1 Stick Butter
•
¼ Tsp. Salt
•
1 Tbsp. plus 1½ Cups
Sugar, divided
•
1 Cup All-
Purpose Flour
•
5 Large Eggs
•
2 ½ Tbsp. Cinnamon

Preheat the 2-IN-1 CHURROS &
EMPANADA BAKERY as directed.
Bring 1 cup water, 1 stick butter, salt, 1 tbsp. sugar
and ½ tbsp. cinnamon to a rolling boil. Turn heat
to low, add flour and stir with a wooden spoon
until a soft ball forms. Remove from heat.
Thoroughly stir in one egg at a time. Let dough stand
until it can hold its shape. (About 5 minutes.)
Transfer batter into a pastry bag and dispense or pour
batter into preheated wells of Lower Cooking Surface.
Close the Lid and cook for 3-7 minutes or until
golden brown and cooked through.
Open Lid with a pot holder or oven mitt.
Remove churros with a wooden or plastic kitchen
utensil. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon in a
medium bowl. Sprinkle over warm churros.
