MagicSafe operating modes
The alarm system has the following five operating modes:
Stand-by
The alarm system is kept in stand-by as soon as it is installed and correct-
ly connected. However, it does not trigger the alarm when in stand-by.
Activation time
The alarm system has an activation time of approx. 30 seconds.
The status LED on the key holder lights up as an visual indicator of the
activation time.
Armed
If the alarm system is activated, it can trigger the alarm. This happens if
someone e. g. breaks the door open, opens the bonnet or enters the
vehicle interior. If you wish to drive off, you must first deactivate the alarm
system. The system is then in stand-by mode.
The status LED on the key holder lights up as an visual activation
indicator.
