Using the self-activation function
Self-activation (factory setting: deactivated) refers to the automatic arming of
the alarm system after leaving the vehicle. The ignition must be switched off
for this and the doors must be closed.
To set up self-activation, proceed as follows:
➤ Program software function 7 "Self-activation" to "On".
✓ The alarm system activates itself 10 sec. after the ignition was switched
off and a door was opened and closed again.
NOTE
I
If you have set the system to self-activate, the central locking does
not lock the doors, to prevent you locking yourself out of the car by
accident.
