4 - Function and description
• The HT harnesses are fall arrest equipment compliant with standard EN 361. These harnesses can be equipped with an EN 358 work
position holding belt and an EN 813 thigh strap assembly equipped with suspension point.
• The HT harnesses are body harnessing systems designed to stop a fall; they are built to receive fall arrest systems, belay lanyards and
work position holding lanyards: see figure 7.
• A fall arrest harness is the sole body harnessing system which can be used in a fall arrest system.

• Use of HT harnesses according to anchorage equipment:
• Back anchorage point: This point is designed to receive a fall arrest system or a restraint lanyard.
• Chest anchorage point: This point is intended to receive a fall arrest system or a restraint lanyard. It is recommended for climbing
• Belt side anchorage points: These are intended to receive work position holding lanyards.
DANGER: In a work position holding system, the lanyard must maintain taut and free movement must be limited to
0.6 m max.
• Belly anchorage point: This point is intended to receive accessories for movements along ropes, such as ascenders and

used for connection to a fall arrest system. Connection to any other point is dangerous and prohibited.
• The Easyclimb harness has a thoracic anchor point, especially designed to be connected to a rail mounted fall arrester for ladders.
The thoracic anchor point has the specificity of moving in the event of a fall, by means of seams ripping apart. This innovation is
patented. It is especially positioned for this purpose, and does not hinder the operator when climbing or descending.
• The Greentool harness is a transport harness equipped with a saddle to improve user comfort when working in suspended positions.
• The saddle is a comfort component for work in suspended positions. It must be associated to a fall arrest harness and a fall arrest system
as a mandatory requirement.
• The saddle is equipped with points for fastening small tools and accessories.
