Danger of burns caused by hot valve coils!
Touching the valve coils during operating may lead to burns.
Let the device cool off before disassembling it.
Do not touch the device during operation.
Disconnecting plugs when under voltage will damage the device!
Large differences in potential occur when disconnecting plugs under voltage, which could
damage the device.
Make sure the relevant system component is not under voltage before disassembling the
device.

9.1
Disassembling the ED12
CAUTION
NOTICE
The following switch-off sequence must be observed in order to
disassemble the ED12.
1. Stipulate a set point of 0 bar to exhaust the ED12 and the outlet
line at the outlet pressure connection.
2. Switch off the 24 V DC supply voltage.
3. Remove the connected plugs.
4. Switch off the supply pressure and exhaust the supply line.
5. Loosen the four M6x70 screws.
The ED12 may now be removed.

Exchanging the ED12
To exchange the ED12, you must first disassemble it as described
above and then assemble a new ED12 (see "Assembling the ED12"
on page 46).
