Supplies Required:

• Supply piping to 1/2" NPT water supply inlet on unit
• Sign-mounting hardware
Step 1: Attach eye/face wash
NOTE: The top of the eye/face wash heads should be positioned a maximum of 45" from the floor
(see Figure 1a or 1b). Unit is pre-assembled for right-hand mounting. If left-hand mounting is
desired, unit must be disassembled and the parts reassembled per Figure 2 on page 4.
1. Select desired location for eye/face wash on the sink deck and drill a 7/8" diameter hole.
2. Secure assembled unit to the deck with nut and washer provided as shown in Figure 3a on page
5 or Figure 3b on page 6.
Step 2: Connect water supply
1. For Model S19-270C: Connect the water supply using 1/4" nominal (3/8" O.D.) copper tubing
(supplied by installer), seal washer, and nut provided (see Figure 3a).
For Models S19-270C AND S19-270E: Connect the water supply using flexible hose (supplied
by installer) with 1/2" NPT threaded end.
2. Mount safety sign to wall or pipe using sign-mounting hardware supplie d by the installer.
3. Open the water supply lines. Test for leaks and adequate water flow.
