2.1.- Use.
− Before putting the appliance into operation, clean the inside with soapy water. Next, put it
into operation empty for half an hour in the Steam mode, in HGV models, to eliminate the
characteristic smells of a new appliance.
− Check that the grease filter is correctly placed and that the water and gas shut-off valves are
open.
− To put the oven into operation, turn control 4 (Fig. 5-7). The HGV oven works in five modes.
HGV:
•
HOT AIR or CONVECTION.
•
STEAM: Heat is generated by water steam at 100ºC.
•
LOW TEMPERATURE STEAM: Heating is by steam, between temperatures 30º ÷ 98ºC.
•
MIXED: Heating is by hot air and steam.
•
REGENERATION: Heating is by hot air and steam, but with a greater generation of
humidity.
•
It is very important not to exceed 180ºC in the regeneration mode in order to prolong the
life of the oven and its components.
− Ovens have a time control.
•
Automatic: 1' ÷ 120'.
•
Manual:
Continuous.
− HGV models can operate by selecting the core temperature.
•
CORE PROBE: 0 ÷ 98ºC.
− The chamber chimney opens and closes automatically.
− Open the door slowly so that the steam can come out without bothering the user.
− When the oven is not going to be used for a long period of time, close the water and gas shut-
off valves.
N.B.: Inflammable products such as alcohol, etc. cannot be placed inside the oven for cooking
