7 MAINTENANCE
7.1 ROUTINE USER MAINTENANCE
Cleaning may be done by the user so long as he has
read and fully understood the contents of this manual.
Only clean the stove when it is off and cold.
7.1.1 Opening the door
Open the door with the opening lever, using the provided
cold handle ( g. 7.1).
7.1.2 Cleaning the interior of the brazier
Before each ignition it is advisable to check that
the brazier is clean to ensure the free flow of
combustion air from the holes in the brazier itself.
Remove the ash that is deposited inside the brazier
( g 7.2).
After cleaning the brazier, remove it from its housing
and clean the compartment containing it including
the heating element ( g 7.3).
Vacuum the ash compartment.
Using an ashtray can simplify cleaning operations.
7.1.3 Fireplace cleaning
Remove the rebox refractories (Fig. 7.4):
Remove the plugs closing the ue gas compartment
and vacuum up with an ash cleaner to clean the
fumes passage (Fig. 7.5).
Repeating the previous operations to the contrary,
reassemble the refractories of the stove making
sure that they are well positioned in their seats.
