SEASONAL CLEANING
The Dealer will provide you, on the occasion of the fi rst
start up, with the stove maintenance book, where the steps
for seasonal cleaning, outlined here below, are listed.
Consists in:
• Clean the boiler internally and externally
• Carefully clean the heat exchange tubes
• Carefully clean and remove dirt from the combustion cham-
ber and the relative compartment
• Clean fans, verify mechanical and clamp loosening
• Clean smoke channel (replace seals on smoke exhaust pipe)
• Clean smoke duct
• Check the expansion tank
• Verifi cation and cleaning of the circulator installed on the
optional kit
• Clean smoke extraction fan compartment.
• Clean smoke fl ow sensor.
• Clean smoke check thermocouple.
• Empty the pellet hopper and clean the base with the vacuum
cleaner.
• Clean, inspect and scrape any residue from the ignition resi-
stance compartment and if necessary, replace it
• Clean/check the Synoptic Panel
• Visually inspect the electrical wires, connections and power
cable
• Check play of the screw-gear motor group
• Clean the pellet hopper and check loosening of the feed screw
- gear motor assembly
• Functionality test: load the feed screw, ignite, let it run for 10
minutes and shutdown
If the boiler is used very frequently, it is advisable to clean
the smoke channel and the fume duct every 3 months.
Cleaning the smoke channel
• When the boiler is off and cold, move the cleaning handle
vigorously (see previous page)
• Remove the ash tray (2 - fi g. F), lift the inspection metal plate
and vacuum inside (6 - fi g. G).
The quantity of residue which forms depends on the type of
fuel and the type of system.
If cleaning is not carried out, the boiler may not function pro-
perly.
N.B.: After this operation, be sure to replace properly the
inspection metal plate.
ATTENTION!!
After normal cleaning, INCORRECT coupling of the upper
chamber (A) (fi g. H) with the lower chamber (B) (fi g. H) can
compromise boiler functioning.
Therefore, before igniting the boiler, make sure that the
chambers are correctly coupled as indicated in (fi g. I) with-
out any ash or unburnt fuel on the contact edges.
