Attention!
Before making any kind of connection,
make sure
disconnected.
1. Make sure that the power source where the
shredder will be installed is compatible with
the data on the motor plate.
2. Disconnect the power source to make motor
connections.
3. Make the connections shown on the
nameplate of the wiring diagram on the
motor according to the mains voltage.
4. Make sure the connections are well insulated.
5. Turn on power source and check the
rotation of the motor. If necessary, reverse
the electrical connection as indicated on
the motor nameplate so that it works in the
correct direction of rotation.
Checking:
Before operating the shredder check:
If there are tools or objects on the motor or on the
 
equipment, mainly inside the grain funnel or the
green crop feeder.
If there is something obstructing the motor.
 
If the rotation direction is correct.
 
If the voltage of the power source is the same of that
 
of the shredder.
If the gasoline motor contains oil in the crankcase
 
and gasoline in the tank.
If there are people or objects near pulleys and belts.
 
If the shredder cover is properly closed.
 
If the counter cutting blade is properly set and fixed
 
(pg. 60).
If the cutter assembly is securely attached to the
 
machine shaft and the knife is not colliding with the
counter knife.

Operation Instructions
Gasoline
Gasoline motors leave the factory without oil and
 
gasoline, before switching on, check the oil level
and fill oil in the crankcase and gasoline in the fuel
is
tank.
Avoid using gasoline more than 7 days off to avoid
 
motor malfunction.
Fill the tank with care to avoid spilling fuel.
 
Use only regular gasoline.
 
Note the amount of oil in the crankcase and gasoline
 
in the tank according to the motor model, so check
the motor manual.
To turn off the motor in case of an emergency, press
 
the On/Off button to turn off. To turn off in a normal
situation, close the fuel valve and wait until all fuel is
consumed, and then turn the power switch off.
Note:
If the equipment is properly prepared, start the
 
motor, allow it to reach maximum revolution
and start working.
Keep both diesel and gasoline motors running
 
for some minutes for them to reach normal
working temperature.
Never leave a diesel or gasoline motor
 
running in a confided area or without proper
ventilation. The gas from the exhaust contains
carbon monoxide which is inodorous and
lethal.
Turning on the gasoline motor
Make sure that the motor is filled with standard
 
gasoline in the tank and oil in the sump.
Check if the belt is not tensioned, turn the ignition
 
switch to the "ON" position and open the fuel
valve. Engage the choke lever, accelerate the motor
slightly, and pull the retractable start lever until the
motor runs.
