Reading error An error occurred during the READ function.
We recommend programming the lowest output frequencies in the
modules furthest from the amplifier, and successively programming higher
output frequencies. This achieves the best width-frequency response for
the module.
7.

SENDING DATA TO THE TQ TRANSMODULATOR

7.1

Programming Mode

For a transmodulator to be programmed, the 'Program' switch (11) must
be switched ON; as this is done, the 'Programming' indicator turns on.
While the indicator is lit, the transmodulator is ready to receive data from
the PS programmer.
Once the transmodulator has been programmed, the Programming Mode
has to be disabled by switching OFF the 'Program' switch. The
'Programming' indicator turns off.
7.2

DATA TRANSMISSION

Select the desired function on the PS programmer screen and adjust the
right value of that function.
To transmit, press the T key. The programming led will blink to indicate
that the transmodulator has received the datum.
8.

DATA COPYING

The COPY function is provided, to avoid transmitting the TQ module data
one by one. Aiming at the transmodulator, press the F and COPY keys.
The PS programmer must be kept aimed at the transmodulator until the
Copy... message is deleted from the screen. The programming led will
blink while transmitting.
9.

READING THE DATA

Aiming the transmodulator, press the F and READ keys, and Read...
will be displayed on the screen. All the data programmed in the
transmodulator will be read.
