T30 ARMOURED DOOR
LOW BATTERY CHARGE INDICATION
1 - When the four door batteries' charge is low, but with a good margin
before complete exhaustion and therefore board deactivation, on
unlocking the door, the battery and door symbols light up and
fl ash on the display and the buzzer on the external plate emits
a series of "beeps" for the 5 seconds the display shows the low
charge of the batteries, indicating they should be replaced.
After about 100 opening cycles in the low charge condition, the
battery enters the emergency charge condition, in which the
door can only be unlocked by holding down the C10 key button
(RED, GREEN, GREY) for 10 seconds. The battery icon on the
display is continuously lit up.
2 - When the C10 key battery charge is low, but with a good margin
before complete exhaustion and therefore board deactivation,
on unlocking the door, only the battery symbols fl ashes on the
display and the buzzer on the external panel emits a series of
"beeps" for the 5 seconds the display shows the low charge
of the batteries, indicating they should be replaced.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
Replace the batteries when the external panel display and buzzer
start to indicate low charge, rather than waiting for the emergency
charge condition to develop. The lock should be open and the alarm
system disarmed when changing the battery.
1 - R e m o v e t h e b a t t e r y
housing cap by unscrewing
it through 90° with a coin
or screwdriver.
2 - Remove the batteries
from the cylinder (they
will be pushed out by the
inside spring).
NB: the following step
must be completed within
three minutes to avoid
losing the data and thus
making a new initialisation
of the system necessary
(this requires following
the steps indicated in
REPLACING THE C10
ELECTRONIC KEY).
3 - Insert two new lithium
batteries with the negative
pole fi rst, both batteries
oriented in the same
direction.
4 - Remove the cap in its original position (closed).
