REPLACING THE BATTERY
The battery should be replaced as soon as the charge is indicated as
low when the system is armed or disarmed. The battery and siren
symbols fl ash on the door display and the outer door panel and siren
with battery needing replacing both emit a series of "beeps".
1 - Disarm the alarm system by pressing the GREEN key on the
C10 key near the magnetic sensor on the outer panel of the
door.
2 - Remove the siren cover from the base by unscrewing, with a
screwdriver, the retaining screw on the upper part of the said
base.
3 - Remove the battery and replace it with a new one in the indicated
polarity orientation.
4 - Briefl y press the reset button. After this operation, the siren will
emit a series of single "beeps" followed by fl ashes of the led at 1
second intervals. This will continue until the following operation
is completed and, however, for up to three minutes max..
5 - Refi t the siren cover to its base, fastening it from the lower side and
making sure it is steadily retained by the locking screw inserted
into the special through-hole on the upper side. When the cover
is correctly closed, it holds down the tamper sensor button and
silences the siren to indicate the operation is completed.
6 - Disarm the alarm system by pressing the GREEN key on the C10
key near the magnetic sensor on the external door panel.
The system code will be sent to the siren which is then be ready
for use.
