The 20/50KVA FIEM operates by means of forced ventilation and therefore it is necessary to leave a
space of at least 20 cm above and avoid blocking the inlet at the bottom and front.

3.4 Connections and installation

The maintenance and installation of the system must be done by qualified personnel.
Before any work inside the equipment, disconnect it from mains.
The unit is supplied from a distribution panel with its corresponding differential and magnetothermal
protections for a maximum consumption of 105 A in the case of the FIEM 20kVA and 260 A in that of the
FIEM 50kVA.
IMPORTANT: Mains electricity must be disconnected before installing the unit.
With the cut-off device open, verify that the supply voltage is correct with a multimeter. 230 V ± 20%.
The section of input/output grid cables will be 50 mm
50kVA FIEM.
Check that the power to be supplied is always under that of the stabiliser.
Power up the device paying special attention to the source or load order and the neutral connection.
Check that the unit is connected correctly to the ground wire of the customer's installation.
